BIOGRAPHY
Cynthia, born in Ohio, lived in the southwest for twenty-five years and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2004. She received her BFA in painting from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada, her Teaching Certification in 1994 from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, and her MFA in painting from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2003. For twenty-eight years she taught painting and drawing at the college level and currently teaches art classes at The Art Department Store in Salem as well as at her studio. During 2007 she was the arts columnist for Salem Monthly and in 2009, 2010 and 2011 she helped coordinate the Visual Artist Studio Tour for the greater Salem area. She is available for private art lessons. Her paintings and collages have won awards in regional juried shows and can be seen at Raven Rocks Gallery and Gifts in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and Fog Forest Gallery in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada
